Emergency Vehicles

An emergency vehicle is any vehicle that is designated and authorized to respond to an emergency. These vehicles are usually operated by designated agencies, often part of the government, but also run by charities, non-governmental organizations and some commercial companies.

AMBULANCES
There are three types of ambulances.

• Type 1: is based upon a pick-up truck cab/chassis and is used primarily for basic or advanced life support and transport.
• Type 2: is a van based ambulance with little modifi cations except for a raised roof. Its use is for basic life support and transfer of patients.
• Type 3: is a cut-away van chassis but with manufac tured rear module that has the same use as Type 1 ambulances.

Trailors

Trailers are regularly fitted to military vehicles to increase cargo capacity or for hauling specialized equipment or weapons. Each military truck, including jeeps, HMMWVs and other light vehicles, will have one or more trailers that are designated for use with it. Military trailers typically have the same wheel and tire size, load height, and track as the specified towing vehicle to maximize performance under all conditions and to simplify logistics.

Troops Transport

These vehicles are a heavy-duty high-mobility military vehicle used to transport troops and supplies. They have a cargo platform has hinged side benches for troop transport and can be covered with tarpaulin over bows. This vehicle may also be used as a basis for mounting various weapon systems.

Jeeps

Military jeeps (Truck, 1/4 ton, 4x4) were used for an endless variety of tactical and support missions since the beginning of World War II. The world-wide success of the jeep made it a favorite for generations of soldiers and civilians too
