Off-grid and backup generation for sites, facilities and installations that cannot lose power.
Grid supply in much of Nigeria is intermittent, and any system that has to run continuously needs its own generation behind it. CSI designs and installs solar generation and storage for sites where an outage carries real cost.
Sizing is done against measured load rather than nameplate figures. An array specified from an equipment list rather than a survey is usually either short at night or expensively oversized.
Installation, commissioning and the maintenance schedule are part of the same contract.

Generation

Structure and mounting
Galvanised rail and ballast rated for roof loading and harmattan wind. The mounting outlives the panels, so it is specified to.
Cable management
Trays, routing and terminations installed to standard. Most avoidable faults on a young array are cable faults, not panel faults.
What it has to carry
Critical load defined before storage is sized — a control room, a screening point, a cold chain. Everything else can drop during an outage.
Stock and spares
Inverters and controllers held locally. A system waiting three months for a replacement part is a system that is not running.
